Strawberry Rice Crispy Treats are a fun and fruity twist on a childhood favorite. Kids and adults alike will love this easy no-bake strawberry dessert!
I made these Strawberry Rice Crispy Treats for my nieces 3rd birthday party over the weekend. As I was cutting the treats into squares, Austin asked “how did you learn to make these?” I was taken back by his question. Doesn’t everyone know how to make rice crispy treats? They’re a childhood staple for goodness sake! I guess I take advantage of all the memories I have growing up in the kitchen with my family. That’s why, I want to share this recipe with you… in hopes you can create some of your own memories.
I am a sucker for a traditional rice crispy treat. You really can’t beat it. But, you can find the recipe for those on the back of a bag of marshmallows. Today we’re talking about sweet, fruity, buttery, crunchy Strawberry Rice Crispy Treats. They’re perfect for Easter, Valentine’s day or birthday party (because they’re pink… duh).
How do you get this perfectly baby pink color? JELLO. If you’re looking for a deeper pink, just add another tablespoon or two. It’ll just amp up the strawberry flavor! This recipe also calls for a layer of strawberry fluff in between layers of rice crispy mixture. If you can’t find strawberry fluff (we had to check 3 stores), you can skip that step or use the original flavor. If it helps, here’s a link to buy it online: 7.5 ounce jar of Strawberry Fluff.
