Cheesy Bacon Dip Appetizer
This creamy, Cheesy Bacon Dip Appetizer is the perfect football food for game day! Enjoy this warm, savory snack with bagel crisps or tortilla chips.
First order of business – Football is BACK! Today marks the official start of the NFL and I am totally pumped! I love rooting on the Jaguars and Florida Gators almost as much as I love football food…
For me, football food is all about dipping. Touchdown? Touch down on that dip. Time out? Time for a little dipski. You catch my drift? Sure, you can serve buffalo chicken dip for the hundredth time or you can surprise your party guests with something new – this creamy, Cheesy Bacon Dip.
This Cheesy Bacon Dip is like all your best friends showed up to the same party – it’s creamy, it’s cheesy and better yet, it’s bacon-y. Side note: Can we make “bacon-y” a thing?
Here’s what you need:
- cream cheese
- sour cream
- cheddar cheese
- green onion
- bacon
- salt & pepper
- garlic powder
The best thing about this appetizer (well aside from eating it) is that it is so simple to throw together. The only prep work you have to do is cook bacon and do a little chopping. Other than that, you can throw all the ingredients into the oven and let them bubble up to creamy, gooey perfection.
